We don’t believe in trickle down changemaking. Sustainable and scalable social impact starts with coalition building: understanding the scope of a problem, bringing together key stakeholders, and giving everyone a seat at the table to create, develop, and implement innovative solutions. This is what it means to take an intersectional approach to social impact.
We believe that our work stands at the intersection of three key concepts: Cause, Culture, and Capital.
What is Cause?
Cause is the root of our mission. We take cause to mean any social justice issue that demands collective action. As a team, we are especially concerned with criminal justice reform and antiracism, environmental policy and climate change, income inequality and homelessness, and women’s rights.
What is Culture?
Culture is the tangible expression of human intellect and imagination: it encompasses the arts, storytelling, history, and all creative and intellectual work. We engage with artists, filmmakers, musicians and storytellers to visualize and narrativize our campaigns and drive engagement and conversation.
What is Capital?
Capital represents “social justice investment”: the logistical or monetary resources we pour into campaigns via fundraising and strategic partnerships, as well as the triple bottom line of our clients.
We believe that our approach to social impact work is unique in the landscape. Moreover, we’re doing this work because it matters.
